Explorer Protection What's Covered

Ride with peace of mind

Explorer Protection is our optional add on that covers most accidental damage to your e-Bike, child equipment and accessories during your BellaRide Explore experience. It is designed to keep your adventure stress free, remove the worry of "what if" and ensure you can focus on making memories instead of managing small mishaps.

What's Covered

Accidental Damage to the E-Bike

Everyday mishaps are part of riding. Explorer Protection covers most accidental, unintentional damage, including:

  • Bike tipping over

  • Scratches or scuffs to the frame

  • Minor bent or scratched parts

  • Broken bell or reflectors

  • Broken kickstand

  • Scratched display

  • Brake lever or gear shifter damage from a low-speed fall

  • Torn saddle from a tip-over

These things happen often — Explorer Protection removes the awkwardness and cost.​

Child Equipment Damage

If your family is riding, Explorer Protection also covers accidental damage to:

  • Child seats

  • Tag-along bikes

  • Cargo bike rails and cushions

  • Helmet damage due to falls

 

Family setups are naturally more prone to small accidents — this keeps the day relaxed.

Accidental Punctures and Flats
Includes:
  • Thorn punctures
  • Glass punctures
  • Sharp gravel flats
  • Low-speed curb-related tube damage
 
This ensures the ride continues smoothly.
On Trail Support for Covered Damage
If accidental damage makes the bike unsafe:
  • We come to you
  • We repair or replace equipment
  • We help you finish your experience safely

Bicycle Chain

What's Not Covered

Explorer Protection does not cover:

  • Theft or lost equipment

  • Off-trail riding

  • Reckless or unsafe use

  • Intentional damage

  • High-speed collision damage

  • Water damage

  • Riding two people on one bike

  • Damage from behaviour clearly outside safe use

  • Operating the bike while the child is unrestrained

  • These items fall outside casual, accidental use.
